Di-Erre was the first name of our company. Founded in 1977 in Modena, brother and sister: Glauco and Paola Del Rio.
We moved immediately to the local level, with the resale of compressed air items in the territory of Modena, as well as Reggio and Bologna. At the same time, we started promoting products forpneumatic automation, as the first agents in Emilia Romagna of the well-known Japanese brand SMC.
In just 20 years we have become a benchmark in our industry. The next step was to seize a new opportunity for growth, diversification and affirmation in our business.
We have transformed by ceding to SMC Italia the business line for pneumatic automation to focus on the distribution of fittings and accessories for compressed air at national level. In 1997, therefore, from Di-Erre was born Airex. The company remains in the family and values do not change, including the great attention that we have always shown towards our customers.
We were the first to offer a network sale throughout Italy, with a complete and assorted catalogue, rich in high-end products and specific for different industrial sectors.

Training and education of employees and collaborators are part of our core business. In 2022 we embarked on a certified training course with 2400 hours dedicated to Industry 4.0. An activity continued in 2023 with a 1000-hour advanced course on business digitalization..
